Sergeant Kap Pindoria

I have now taken on the position of the Safer Neighbourhoods Sergeant in Church Stretton, Bishop's Castle and Ludlow. I have set the 2019 team priorities as Child Sexual Exploitation/grooming, Class A drug supply including county lines, Aquisitive crime and Domestic abuse. The SNT areas remain safe however a lot of these priority crimes are hidden from the wider community and it is crucial that the SNT work with many of our communities and partners to identify and tackle these crimes and provide victims with support.

Police Constable Stephen Grant

I joined the Police in 2010 working originally in the West Midlands. In 2015 I transferred to West Mercia, where I took up the role as a Safer Neighbourhood Police Officer in South Shropshire. I have been working as the Local officer for Church Stretton and Craven Arms since January 2017 and so far have really enjoyed my time working with the local community and addressing the concerns raised.

Police Community Support Officer David Baron

David Joined West Mercia Police service in 2006 as a PCSO based at Pontesbury covering the villages between Shrewsbury and Church Stretton out to the Telford border Inc Condover, Cressage and Buildwas. In 2014 he moved to Church Stretton to supplement the Church Stretton and Craven arms SNT.  David has qualifications in Child safeguarding with particular interest in internet safety.

Police Community Support Officer Julia St-John-Martin

I joined West Mercia Police in 1998 as a Communications Operator, answering emergency calls and dispatching Police Officers to incidents. After 12 years I applied for the role of Police Community Support Officer at Craven Arms Police Station, where I worked in the community for 4 years until being transferred to Bishops Castle Police Station. In November 2015 I transferred to Church Stretton to augment Church Stretton and Craven Arms Safer Neighbourhood Team. I enjoy the role and particularly like working in rural locations.
